Chinese Shanghai nightlife guide

A visit to Shanghai and enjoying bars, ladies, clubs etc. can be done at any time of year, but in the winter it can get quite cold just as in North America or North Europe.

Its not such bad as in Russia but it can get cold. That means its better not to do a trip in the area of China in the winter month.

Nightlife in the metropolis convince anyone that there is something special going on and if you  have some preferences to Chinese girls that’s the right place to go but be aware they are much

tougher than Thai ladies or Myanmar girls although all of them finally come from China.

Excellent nightclubs and bars are around in the Bund area

which is always a good starting point to a nigh tour, there are no beach pubs although the waterfront is there but it’s a good place to warm up and move to another maybe more vibrant nightclub with some ladies afterwards, there is more than one printed Shanghai nightlife guide available in the city, check the hotels.

Plenty of restaurants make the nightlife scene more enjoy able. Want to ad some spice? Try Maoming Nanlu, Hengshanlu, Xujiahui, Xintiandi, Jululu, Duolunlu, Fuxing Park at this places naturally there is also some action during the day.

Shanghai nightlife spots

brings sometimes new pictures for people who travel to China the first time spectacular views and sometimes rather strange experiences, its different its China, always keep one thing in mind it is very unlikely to find anyone who speaks any other language beside Chinese which is rather natural but makes things difficult sometimes, anyway, use a Shanghai nightlife guide that helps. Buying a electronic translator could be a good choice. With the younger crowd maybe at a disco, pub or in the club scene this might be different but overall its sometimes a real problem with the language, ok learn Chinese.

Nanjing Road
Shanghai Nightlife Guide

A nightlife spot where always something is going on is Nanjing Road,

traditionally the number one shopping street in China, attracts hordes of visitors from all over the world. In days gone by the street was named 'The Great White Way' on account of its extraordinary display of things Occidental - in fact, huge department stores were established before 1920. Whilst the main part has been widened and is a walking street only now, the frenetic activity of shopping never slows in established department stores such as the No. 1, which was formerly the Sun emporium set up in the 1930s. Further along the street on the western section, a new late-night shopping and eating Mecca has arisen with nightlife and modem shopping plus commercial plaza, such as the palatial Plaza 66 and the remarkable, buzzing Westgate Mall.

However Huaihai Road has eclipsed the Nanjing Road in the style stakes.

The former glamour of Avenue Joffre, the main street of the old French Concession, has been restored.

Crammed with chic boutiques, interior design shops and huge stores, it is the place to be seen. The art deco housed Maison Mode has attracted major fashion houses as Shanghai promises to rival Milan, Paris and London. Luxurious shopping malls such as limes Square appear like mirages in a desert. The nearby Xiangyang market offers more affordable fashion and accessories - albeit of dubious authenticity. The huge market is a favorite attraction for visitors and locals alike. The
Xujiahui district, breaching old and new Shanghai, has also become a very desirable residential area. Numerous state-of-the-art serviced residences have appeared in the last few years.
